Texas Hunting Vacation Locations

Paradise Hunting Club manages thousands of acres on the West side of Houston in the Hockley, Waller, Katy, Brookshire, Eagle Lake, Lissie, East Bernard, Garwood, Wharton, Bay City, and El Campo prairies. These rice-producing areas are world-renowned for their waterfowl, ducks, geese, and sandhill cranes — perfect for a Texas hunting vacation. This part of Southeast Texas is known as the "Goose Hunting Capital of the World," where the largest concentrations of Snow, Blue, Ross, Specklebelly, and Lesser Canadian Geese in North America are available. Our waterfowl guides will take you through the prairies to ensure the best possible Texas waterfowl hunting experience.

These Texas hunting vacation areas are the winter homes for:

  • 1.5 to 1.8 million Snow, Blue, and Ross Geese
  • 600,000 to 800,000 Specklebellies
  • 500,000 Lesser Canada Geese
  • 2 to 3 million ducks, including Pintail, Blue and Green Teal, Widgeon, Gadwall, Mallard, Northern Shoveller, Mottled, and Blackbelly Tree, as well as several species of diving ducks
